A New Addition!
We are very pleased to announce that we will be adding a Sculpture Garden at Huff Estates! The garden will be nearly 4 acres in size and will incorporate 35,000 flowers, groves, poplars and maples as well as a knoll which could later serve as an amphitheater. The design is largely inspired by the natural landscape of the County and features many indigenous plants, limestone paths and walls and will even feature a small sand dune.
There will be approximately 30 - 40 sculptures spread out through the garden which are to be selected by Carlyn Moulton of the Oeno Gallery. The sculptures will be rotated annually and as for the 2011 exhibition Carlyn has confirmed that pieces will include those by highly acclaimed Canadian sculptors Ruth Abernethy, Shayne Dark, Neil Clifford, Edward Falkenberg and many more.
The Sculpture Garden at Huff Estates is projected to open in the spring of 2011. We would like to thank Scott Wentworth for the design and construction of the garden as well as Drew McCandlish for the design and plantings.
