Lanny Huff - Owner/President
Lanny was born and raised in Prince Edward County and has called it home ever since. A chemical engineer by trade, Lanny has spent a great deal of his life in the plastics industry. He has also always had a passion for travel and of course fine wine and once Prince Edward County was recognized as a grape growing region Lanny did not hesitate to combine these passions of his and create Huff Estates.

Frédéric Picard - Winemaker
Born in Burgundy, Fred was destined to be a winemaker. He originally received his MBA from Concordia University and decided to follow his calling into winemaking and went on to complete his winemaking/oenology degree from the famed Lycee of Beaune. Fred has done vintages in various regions throughout the world including France, Italy, South Africa, Chile, California and Niagara and then was lured to Prince Edward County. Fred has been a member of Huff Estates since the winery's establishment and has become a highly regarded craftsman at his trade.Ph: 613-393-5802 E: fpicard@huffestates.com
Jason Sharpe - General Manager
Jason completed his undergraduate degree at Laurentian University in the field of Commerce and spent time working in vineyards and barrel cellars during his summer breaks. Jason worked for Huff Estates briefly after completing his degree in 2007 and decided he wanted to further his education in wine and went on to complete his Masters of Wine Business degree from the University of Adelaide in Australia. Brian Hanna - Sommelier (ACSP)
An accredited Quebec-based sommelier Brian has worked for various hotels and inns in Montreal and surrounding Eastern Townships. Brian "retired" to the county in 2006 where he has kept up his activity and passion in the wine industry and has been "wowing? people with his guided tastes and tours since he joined Huff in 2007.Ph: 613-393-5802 E: brian@huffestates.com
Angela Braun - Retail Manager
Began a life in the customer service industry as a flight attendant in the Middle East and returned to Canada to become a fitness trainer and then owner of a Fitness Studio in Germany, where her passion for fine wines began. Angie came back to Prince Edward County with a mission to pursue a career in Canada's newest wine growing region and made Huff Estates home in 2009 after gaining invaluable experience with other industry professionals in the area.Ph: 613-393-5802 E: sales@huffestates.com
Alex Hunter - Vineyard Manager
Alex is part of the 1st graduating class of the Niagara College Winery and Viticulture Technician Program. Upon completion he worked in Pelee Island, Niagara (Beamsville) and also worked a vintage overseas in South Africa in the Bot River region. Alex is one of the first members of the Huff team joining in 2003 and now manages the Estate vineyard at the 62 & 1 location and helps Frederic as a cellar hand while the vines are dormant in the winter.Alex Ph: 613-922-6419 E: alexhunter@sympatico.ca
