DELICATE and PERFUMED
Strikingly light berry red in colour. This vintage reflects a soft perfumed nose that floats ripe black fruit (cherry, currant, plum, berry) components along with a savoury spiciness ( clove, cardamom). Red cherry/pit flavours make their mark with very
laid back oak treatment and a refreshing streak of acidity. Fashioned to give pleasure. Now….get back to your glass.

No time passes before realization sets in. This is not just more incredible lightness of PEC pinot noir being but a wondrous example of advanced and furthered. The chrestomathy is understood, from the excellence of these vineyards, this geology and what magic compels pinot noir into such a lithe and ethereal state. Others do so in the County in similar ways but Huff’s is the one to match the fantasy with perfectly dark fruit extracted reality. This has blessed commercial appeal and immense structure. The tannins are fine-spun, perfectly planar, parallel to the fruit and together they will travel in synch for many years. The tension on the finish seals the deal, on the edge of bitter and with that first sip still in mind. Drink 2019-2025. Tasted February 2017.

Ruby clour with a violet tint at the rim. Lifted black raspberry nose with oak spice and a light floral note. Medium-bodied, crispy dry, cranberry and sour cherry flavours; well-balanced and very Burgundian in style
